I love you more & do you feel out of step with life?

What then, brothers? When you come together, each one has a hymn, a lesson, a revelation, a tongue, or an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.

DESCRIPTION: I love you more …than….what? And Paul felt he was born out of due time–what does that mean? Amazing answer!
TRANSCRIPT: hey everybody john fenn here, church without walls international, c-w-o-w-i, we’re a house church network we’re celebrating the gathering of the saints the way they did in the early church the way they went from 120 people to saturating the roman empire in under 300 years that is they would take turns leading they would take turns hosting therefore when everyone was used to hosting and hosting and leading they would outgrow a home they would just multiply out begin rotating and hosting nothing new there not sermon oriented at all just sharing what christ is doing in your life and in your heart and it’s relationship based faith if you’re interested in that visit our website cwowi.org also sign up for my weekly thoughts which is a weekly teaching that comes out every friday u.s time and my e-newsletter and that’s where we put words prophetic words news of conferences zoom meetings online stuff like that so visit us there today talking about our focus and the realities of christ’s love for us you know a couple weeks ago at one of our house church meetings locally i had been i shared what i’d been thinking on i have a favorite tv drama that i i really really like have watched the last 12 seasons and in there early on there was a husband and wife character and they would typically uh the wife would say i love you and the husband would say i love you more or if the wife was if the husband was the first to say i love you then the wife would respond i love you more and you know that was just a common thing throughout there and and didn’t think much about it and then i saw a sitcom or something where somebody was on there and they tried to make a funny out of it where’s some girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever they said i love you and he responded i love you more and she said no i resp i love you more and he responded no i love you more and they made it into a competition like who loves each other the most you know i love you more but i love you more no i love you more and i started thinking about that on a scriptural basis what is that that the the father god would say i love you by sending his son and what does that mean to us and what i came to the conclusion is this i love you more can be continued i love you more than the worst sin you’re going to commit as a christian i love you more than the sins you committed when you were an unbeliever i love you more than the worst trial situation you will ever have i love you more than the worst emotional downer you will ever experience and so i started thinking on in terms of of that way what would the father god be saying to us when i love you and we might respond i love you more or he would respond i love you more to that which makes more sense but the point is this i love you more then and of course it happens in relationships too uh among a husband and wife among uh two best friends among a parent and child you know i love you more than the worst thing you could ever do to me i love you more than the worst financial crisis we’ll ever have i love you more than the biggest fight we will ever have you know that kind of love how do you know when you’re in love when you can say i love you more than and then make it the biggest the worst the whatever the case is and that’s the way the father god is stressed which gives us great assurance you know we we believe in the lord therefore our previous life is blotted out under the blood of jesus it retains in our memory so we can learn our lesson and know from which we’ve been saved um but he’s continually just the next time you feel down about yourself just think about that in terms of i love you more than and i like to share oftentimes paul’s use of words in first corinthians chapter 15 when he was talking about how he had missed the ministry of jesus and when he missed the ministry of jesus he talks about how after his resurrection jesus was seen by more than 500 people at once and as he was writing first corinthians you know in the year what about 59 or so he said the vast majority of them are still alive to this day and he in the king james version it says he was as one born out of due time born out of due time that he missed the ministry of jesus he was probably at his home town in tarsus or something like that and had missed the wasn’t in jerusalem in that area for those three years or so and so you know what does born out of due time mean it is a single greek word ektroma and i’ve shared this before in a different context so maybe a reminder for some but within this context of i love you more it can it can just reaffirm our confidence and our assurance in christ ectroma started um as a as a term for a a bill in the roman senate uh some senator would propose a bill and they would take it to a committee and that committee would decide on the fate of that bill and if that bill was tabled if that bill was cancelled if that bill was was said i’m not going to bring it to the floor of the senate to be voted on it was said to be an ectroma it was a miscarriage it was an aborted bill it was it was used for abortion it was used for miscarriage and it had its original use in the roman senate for a bill that never got out of committee it was a miscarriage or an aborted bill paul used that term in first corinthians 15 if you look at verses 8 through 10 and he said this he said i was one born out of due time that is that word ectroma in other words paul is saying i feel like i was my life was an abortion my life was a miscarriage that i should have been so paul was dealing with the mis-timing of his life and and wrestling with that and that’s very much along the lines of what i’m saying today about when we feel like that sometimes where we miss the things of the lord we can we can get down on ourselves or get down in our situation and just remember that i love you more than the express the expression from the father of giving the lord jesus to become a man to die on the cross and to be raised from the dead as lord tells us i love you more than your worst sin um you know the only sin that continued to hell is not believing in jesus uh he is he he died for others he didn’t die for himself as paul points out in his writings and so the one sin that was not covered by the cross is is uh not believing in jesus again because he died for others he didn’t die for himself and so that is the one sin that was not covered and so you know you can look and have your worst day and it’s still the father saying hey i love you more than this worst day i love you more than this temptation that you’re experiencing i love you more than this this emotional time this financial time you’re going through this difficult time you’re going through and so how did paul resolve that where he he bared his heart and said i feel like my life was an ectroma a miscarriage i was aborted i missed the ministry of jesus i was always you know half a step forward or half a step back i was just off step with what was going on and he felt like his life was miscarried what did he say well down in verse 10 he goes on and he says this he says but by god’s grace i am what i am there comes a point in time where you have to accept that where you have to stop fighting against the love stop fighting against thee i love you more than from the father god you have to stop fighting that love yes it’s greater than you could ever imagine it’s more amazing than you could ever hope for and it seems impossible that the father god would love us but you’ve got to remember he created us he thought us up and and in doing so he knew everything that we would go through and he also gifted us and graced us with all the gifts and all the ability and all the strength that we have was given to him to us by him after he looked through the corridors of time literally and and saw what we would go through so he gave us what we needed as we lean on him so this day just remember that come to a resolution within yourself by god’s grace i am what i am you put one foot in front of the other it’s a walk of grace it is a process he has invested in us for the long haul and i refer back to that something i share quite often during a visitation with the lord where he had been teaching me some things that he turned to go then he turned back around and he said this he said you know the father and i uh or he said this he said you know people get saved uh as seen in in 4 ephesians 2 and ephesians 2 6 says that the father god it starts in verse 4 saying that the father god even when we were dead in our sins raised us up and verse 6 seated us in the heavenly places in christ with him and so and i said what do you mean verse six he said verse six stands for your righteousness and and your place in me and your authority in me and then he tilted his head a little bit and smiling said but the father and i saved you for verse seven verse seven says this the reason we were raised up and seated in the heavenly places in christ verse 7 continues the thought so that in the ages to come the father can continue to show forth the riches of his grace and his kindness which is towards us in christ jesus you see when we’re bogged down and we’re saying we’re thinking do you really love me and we’re contemplating i love you more than whatever you’re going through when you contemplate my life seems like a miscarriage and abortion why was i born what is my purpose remember that the father and the lord jesus saved you for the ages to come take your eyes off of the momentary troubles that you’re having and remember you’re already in eternity they’ve saved you for the ages to come and there’s your best days are ahead all right god bless visit our website

Who We Are
Not that we would have dominion over your faith, but rather are helpers of your joy, for by your own faith you stand (II Cor 1:24) We believe the practice of home based churches as depicted in the book of Acts and Paul’s letters is normal Christianity. These churches revolve around friends, neighbors, and co-workers meeting regularly for the purpose of growing in Christ and letting the Lord’s will be done in their midst.

What We Do
Our goal is to help build Godly relationships by helping Christians establish new house churches. CWOWI encourages Christians who do not currently attend “church” to build relationships with the believers around them. CWOWI then uses technology to connect those singular house churches to hundreds worldwide. All affiliated house churches are affiliated under a biblically sound statement of faith. CWOWI also serves as a resource for the church through the ministry of John Fenn and network leaders.
